On September 17-18, 2018, the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) along with its centres, organized the second edition of the BIST Advanced Optical Microscopy retreat.
The retreat took place at the Montserrat Hotel & Training Centre and consisted of two training days with researchers from BIST centres as well as external institutes.
Topics of the retreat included a summary of the Advanced Optical Microscopy Group at BIST, and sessions on bioimaging analysis, nanoscopy-driven projects, big data in biology and physics, mesoscopy-driven projects, and discussions on new trends & new challenges in advanced optical microscopy, among others.
