Catalytic Transformations of Strong Sigma-Bonds

Abstract
Our group has been focused on the development of catalytic transformations involving the cleavage of strong sigma-bonds, such as cross-coupling of anisoles and nitriles, heterocycle synthesis via carbon-heteroatom bond cleavage as well as C-H functionalization. Some of our recent findings in this area will be delivered in the lecture.
