The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology collaborates once again with the Banco Sabadell Foundation in this year’s Science and Engineering Award. The call for the Banco Sabadell Foundation awards for Biomedical Research, and Economic Research are also accepting applications. The application deadline is March 31, 2022 for all three awards.
The aim of the Banco Sabadell Foundation Awards is to foster outreach, training, and research activities in the educational, scientific and cultural spheres, and to support emerging talent.
The Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Science and Engineering, now in its 6th iteration, is organised in collaboration with the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), and celebrates the careers of young researchers who stand out in fields such as mathematics, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Prof. Andreu Mas-Colell, President of the BIST Board of Trustees, will chair the jury of the Science and Engineering award again this year.
The Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Biomedical Research is now in its 21st edition. Its aim is to recognise the excellent work carried out by young researchers with a significant track record in the field of biomedical research and health sciences, who distinguish themselves with their capacity for innovation.
And finally, the Banco Sabadell Foundation Prize for Economic Research recognises the work of Spanish researchers in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship, and social knowledge. The aim is to contribute to analysing and developing alternatives for the promotion of social wellbeing.
