The Board of Trustees of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) met on June 26th in Barcelona and has approved the incorporation of a new scientific member of the BIST board.
The Board of Trustees of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) met on June 26th in Barcelona and has approved the incorporation of a new scientific member of the BIST board.Professor M. Carme Calderer is a physicist and mathematician with a PhD from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh (Scotland), who currently teaches at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities). With a long academic career and numerous publications, Dr. Calderer has focused her research on the mathematical modeling of fluid and crystal behavior.
BIST is excited about this new addition to its Board of Trustees and looking forward to working with Prof. Calderer.
