Prof. Miquel A. Pericàs, Director and Group Leader at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), a BIST centre, has won one of the Iberoamerican Organic Chemistry prizes awarded during the IV Iberoamerican Symposium on Organic Chemistry (SIBEAQO-IV), celebrated in Cayo Santa María, Cuba, earlier this month.
Prof. Miquel A. Pericàs, Director and Group Leader at the Prof. Pericàs won the prize along with Prof. Luis Echegoyen of the University of Texas at El Paso and Prof. Vicente Vélez Bencomo of the Finlay Institute of Vaccines in Cuba. Pericàs received the prize in recognition of a prestigious scientific career in the field of Organic Chemistry.
