Martina Pesaresi of CRG wins 3rd annual Barcelona Science Slam

Martina Pesaresi, PhD Student at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), one of the BIST centres, has won the third annual Barcelona Science Slam for her talk about retina degeneration.

The 2018 Barcelona Science Slam took place on May 31st at Bar Mau Mau in Barcelona. The event was organized by CRG, in partnership with BIST and was also a European Science Slam pre-final. The night included eight captivating presentations from PhD students in the BIST Community who explained their research projects in 5 minute engaging, clear, and fun talks. Congratulations to all who participated in the event and especially to Martina who is traveling to Toulouse in July 2018 to present her project at the European Final in Toulouse.
