Hac Te, a Barcelona-based initiative that promotes the relationship between art, science, and technology, has announced its partnership in the New European Bauhaus (NEB) project, and its collaboration in the ISEA2022 Barcelona production grants. BIST and the BIST centre ICFO are among the institutions that launched Hac Te in 2020.

Hac Te has joined the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, a creative and interdisciplinary project that provides a Europe-wide space for designing future ways of living through the intersection of art, culture, social inclusion, science, and technology.

Hac Te’s membership in the New European Bauhaus initiative is an international recognition of its commitment to social challenges such as digital and environmental transformation, and will enable Hac Te to network with European organisations that share the same values.

Additionally this month, Hac Te has announced its collaboration in the ISEA2022 Barcelona production grants, which will support artistic creation through funding the production and research of artistic works at the confluence of art, science, and technology. The works coming out of these grants will be exhibited at ISEA2022 Barcelona, the 27th International Symposium on Electronic Art, taking place in Barcelona from June 10-16, 2022.
