The Board of Trustees of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) met today in Barcelona and has approved the appointment of a new General Director, as well as the incorporation of a new research institute as a new member of BIST.
The Board of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), chaired by Andreu Mas-Colell, has approved at its annual meeting, held today at the new BIST headquarters, the Escola Industrial, the appointment of Gabriel M. Silberman as the new General Director of BIST. The Board also approved the expansion of the BIST Foundation with the incorporation of the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC).
