The first edition of the Future Leaders Forum, which will be held on Friday October 28th, 2022 at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Campus Ciutadella, is a one-day conference organised by BIST postdocs and junior leaders, with the aim of encouraging networking among the postdoctoral community and providing a relaxed space for lively and interactive talks and activities focused on career progression and transition.

We will bring you keynote speakers from academia and industry, round-tables, and networking sessions, where we will debate about how to tackle scientific and career challenges in high-priority research areas such as healthcare and biomedical research, quantum technologies, and sustainability.

In addition to our keynotes, we want to hear about you! One abstract from each of the BIST centres will be selected for a 5-min FLASH research talk. Send us a 250 words abstract, written in plain language. Please highlight your research but also the research done in your centre.

Registration is free and still open. Food and drinks will be provided.
