The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) is once again gearing up for the annual #100tífiques event, which will bring hundreds of female researchers into schools (in person or virtually) across Catalonia on February 11, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The annual #100tífiques Meet-up will be held in person on February 4, 2022.
The #100tífiques initiative aims to inspire girls and boys to pursue their vocations, highlight women’s scientific talent and innovation in Catalonia, and foster a network for women dedicated to research, innovation, design, management, and outreach in both public institutions and private companies.
After holding the 2021 edition entirely online, participants in this fourth edition of #100tífiques will be able to choose whether to give their talk in person or online on February 11, 2022.
The #100tífiques Meet-up, which will give visibility to women scientists and promote networking, will be held in person on Friday February 4, 2022. Participants will complete a series of training webinars on science teaching and communication strategies before this Meet-up, and will this year also have video capsules at their disposal with training content to prepare their talks.
If you are interested in giving a talk at a school on February 11, 2022 within the #100tífiques programme, please fill out the registration form here.
