Workshop on Nanoscale Acoustics in the Thermal and Quantum Regimes

The University of Chicago is hosting this workshop that includes several BIST speakers among the constellation of global top researchers in the fields of quantum acoustics/mechanics and quantum photonics.

More specifically, on the second day of the event, on March 25, Dr. Adrian Bachtold (ICFO) will participate, with a presentation on “Nanotube mechanical resonators – tiny electron forces and few quanta of vibrations”, and ICREA Professor Clivia Sotomayor-Torres and Dr. Daniel Navarro Urrios ( ICN2) will give a presentation on “Thermal transport and control of the nonlinear dynamics of single and coupled OM crystals”.
