Who is this workshop for?
Postgraduate students from BIST and RMIT who are carrying out research within engineering, natural sciences, and life sciences; and are interested in learning more about the interface between science and society.
What is this workshop about?
This workshop will inform participants of the problems that arise when research, development and innovation (R&D&I) is carried out unilaterally; and the increasing need to include societal, as well as professional, stakeholders in the R&D&I process.
Participants will be introduced to the key concepts and definitions of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and co-creation, and will put them into practice through a series of creative design sessions.
