ICN2 seminar: sensing and making sense of temperature and molecules at the nanoscale

In this talk, Prof. João Rocha will review some of the work carried out in Aveiro in the last few years on the design, synthesis and characterisation of lanthanide-bearing nanostructures for sensing small molecules and temperature. Selected examples of nanoporous silicates and metal-organic frameworks will be given.
