In this seminar, I will reply to the question: how I got from ICFO to where I am today?. By constructing the answer, I will talk about my professional career starting from my undergraduate studies in Colombia, passing by my Msc and PhD in the United States, and the postdoc and photonics outreach work that I did at ICFO.
