Together with the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI), and the collaboration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, BIST organizes once again #científiques (formely, #100tífiques). Since 2019, #científiques commemorates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, with the aim to:
- Highlight the strategic role of women in science and technology
- Create real and relatable role models of women scientists and technologists for boys and girls
- Promote full and equal access and participation of women in science
What is #científiques and when will it take place? 
#científiques is an iniative that includes a series of events:
- Talks by women scientists from public and private institutions where they share their career journeys and work with school groups aged 11 to 14 (6th grade of primary school and 1st grade of secondary school). These talks will be held on February 11, 2025
- A meet-up for women scientists: An event designed for inspiration, training, and networking, scheduled forFebruary 5, 2025 at the PRBB (Barcelona)
- Training and resources for teachers to support science education with a gender perspective. This training will take place online, from January 16 to March 6, 2025.
