Introduction to Creativity – Developing Your Creative Toolbox

by Holly Blondin

Four 1-hour sessions online; once per week

Course Description

Creativity is the source of making sense of the world around us. In practice, it allows us to unlock the impossible and make it possible. A creative practice not only supports the life of ideas, it also benefits us as individuals. Creative actions grow your imagination capacity and your emotional intelligence. Having a creative practice develops your creative confidence.

Throughout these four sessions  you will become aware of your own creative capacities, and utilise simple techniques to help you shape your own creative practice. At the end of the four sessions you will walk away with a creative toolbox that you can utilize long after the 4-session programme is complete.

Each session is designed to put you in creative action – You will learn by doing! Weekly creative sprints and creative challenges allow you to practice and apply your new creative tools. You will also be given time within the session to discuss and share ideas and insights with other BIST members.
