Becoming a Science Teacher
This webinar offers the chance to explore the diverse experience of various experts in scientific careers on the area of Education.
Dr. Victoria Salgado and Dr. Victor López will share their own career paths from Academia to their current job positions as STEM teachers and how they apply innovative teaching strategies based on scientific methodology.
Dr. Paola Chiara Bartoccioni who has been granted with a fellowship for Promoting Scientific Vocation in Education, by Fundació Catalunya la Pedrera will share her experience in doing research while preparing for becoming a scientific teacher.
Dr. Mar Carrió, the coordinator of the master programme at UPF to train teachers will explain us the pathway to become a teacher in both public and private system. also share her expertise on how to proceed with career transitions to STEM teacher positions within the public/private school system.
The four experts will give their insights on the whole spectrum of options in the area of Secondary Education and the application of innovative teaching and learning methologies in STEM. The seminar will be held in Catalan and Spanish.
