A delegation of BIST team is participating in the Vitae Researcher Development International Conference 2019, the only dedicated event that brings together all those with a strategic and practical role in developing researchers. It is expected the event gathers about 400 participants from several countries, including pro-vice-chancellors, heads of faculty, heads of graduate schools, HR directors, careers advisors, staff developers and trainers.

Gabby Silberman, Director General of BIST, will chair the half plenary session entitled Catalysing a culture shift in the development of research staff (Monday 16th September, 15:05h) which will have the following participants:
