Barcelona will celebrate a great city event to relaunch its economy after a year of pandemic: ‘Barcelona reAct’. For 4 days (April 13-16), experts and agents from all sectors will exchange proposals and analyse up to 10 major levers to drive this recovery. Experiences from other cities will also be shared, with the aim of weaving a network of resilient metropolises and recognition will be made of the solidarity initiatives that emerged from citizens during the pandemic. As a conclusion, a Manifesto will be drawn up with the 10 key objectives / actions to reactivate the city, a guide for the economic future of Barcelona in the coming years.
Gabby Silberman, director general of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), and Luis Serrano, director of the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), a BIST centre, will take part in the session about eHealth and Science Initiatives (Thursday April 15, 12:00h – 13:30h).
