The “5 Senses of Science” exhibition is a project created by the BIST Master (MMRES) Students, offering a unique experience to explore science through the five senses, making it accessible and inclusive for all audiences. The aim is to bring scientific knowledge closer in an interactive and sensory way, sparking curiosity and fostering learning through sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste.
Visitors will have the chance to see how colours and visual perception play a key role in science, discover new concepts through sound—such as the Wigner function and 3D perception of sound—, experience touch by exploring mitochondrial DNA and its impact on ATP production, create their own scents in a smell laboratory, and finally, enjoy a taste experience with the spherification technique.
This exhibition is designed for everyone, regardless of their abilities, and seeks to inspire, educate, and amaze through a tangible and approachable experience of science.
The exhibition is primarily in Spanish, with some elements also available in Catalan and English.
The entrance is free with previous registration
