Andreu Mas-Colell, President of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology, is participating in the fourth annual National Congress for Entrepreneurial Scientists, taking place at the CosmoCaixa science museum in Barcelona on the 24th and 25th of February.
The congress will focus on the before and after of the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem of Spain. It aims to promote the creation of companies with a scientific and technological foundation, to give visibility to entrepreneurial scientists, to create synergies within the sector, and to inspire new generations of entrepreneurial scientists.
Andreu Mas-Colell, one of the world’s leading mathematical economists and president of BIST, will participate in the opening ceremony of the congress.
BIST’s former director, Monsterrat Vendrell, is also participating as the keynote speaker with a talk entitled ‘Innovation: from research to the market to transform society’.
