BIST PhD Fellowship Programme

The BIST PhD Fellowship Programme is a pioneering, international and multidisciplinary programme for PhD students led by the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology and the following BIST centres:

Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG)
The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO)
Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ)
Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2)
Institute for High Energy Physics (IFAE)
Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona)

The programme launched in 2017 with a group of eight PhD students embarking on their four-year postgraduate studies with a focus on multidisciplinary research. Students work in an exciting international and collaborative scientific environment, which includes broad range of research disciplines and core facilities, technological courses, personal skills training and career development services.
