BIST launches free professional development programmes and resources online

The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) is launching an online programme to continue supporting all researchers and staff in the BIST Community in their professional development throughout this time of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BIST has been working non-stop to find ways to continue supporting the members of its community in their personal and professional development during this time of social confinement. We are launching a series of career webinars and a list of helpful online resources, as well as an online research pitch competition and a series of online courses about creativity.

The programme officially kicks off this Friday with the first BIST Career Webinar about bringing science to industry.

 

BIST Career Webinars

The BIST Career Webinars will be held weekly, on Fridays, and will be open to anyone who has previously registered online. A range of topics will be discussed by experts from within the BIST Community as well as other internationally recognized institutes.

The first webinar will take place on Friday, April 24th, 2020:

BIST Online Resources for Training and Career Development

BIST has compiled a series of resources to help junior and senior scientists improve and boost their research as well as learn about career development.

These will help you find ways to adapt to the current situation of confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic. The resources are focused on reducing stress and helping you work on emotional wellbeing and balance.
