BIST Director Miquel A. Pericàs featured in Biocat interview

Miquel A. Pericàs, Director of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) and of the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) was featured last week in an interview for Biocat.

In the interview, Dr. Pericàs talks about the strength and success of BIST, which comes from the scientific excellence of its centres (CRG, ICFO, ICIQ, ICN2, IFAE, IRBB) and the critical mass that has been gained through combining these centres and their resources. He also talks about the BIST strategic research areas (chemical biology, graphene, big data, and microscopy), the BIST Founding Conference, and outlooks for the future.
