BIST Centres participate in Science Week 2017

The Centres of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) are participating in Science Week 2017, which officially runs until November 19th in Catalonia.

The BIST Centres are: Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), Institute for High Energy Physics (IFAE), and Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona).

More about Science Week
Science Week is organized by the Fundació Catalana per a la Recerca i la Innovació (FCRi) and consists of workshops, talks, exhibitions, games, and more. This year’s theme is sustainable tourism, to support the celebration of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development promoted by the United Nations, which aims to raise awareness among decision makers and the general public of the contribution of sustainable tourism to development.
