The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) has opened its first call for the PREBIST PhD Fellowship Program today, November 1st.
The PREBIST Program is focused on launching the scientific doctoral careers of young scientists through offering them the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary research environment and putting emphasis on personalized doctoral career development and scientific training. All together, 28 four-year fellowships are available in Barcelona and Tarragona at one of the five participating BIST centres (ICFO, ICIQ, ICN2, IFAE, IRB Barcelona). The first call will be open from November 1st – January 7th, 2017. Thereafter, another call will be launched on March 15th, 2018.

PREBIST is an international PhD fellowship Program lead by BIST. The program is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND program, through which BIST will receive 10 million euros in the next five years to help fund the 28 PhD fellowships as well as 61 postdoctoral fellowships through the PROBIST Program.
