ICN2 (the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) is taking part in the 2017 Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Festival. This country-wide event will take place during April 2017 in various locations across Spain (Zaragoza, Madrid, San Sebastián, Barcelona and the Bellaterra Campus of the UAB).

ICN2 is participating by offering activities and events at the Bellaterra Campus of the UAB and the Casa de Cultura de Sant Cugat, in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB), and the National Centre for Microelectronics (CNM-CSIC).

The festival aims, in a fun and exciting way, to bring the nanometric scale, its effects, and how this knowledge will change our lives through innumerable applications and products to all audiences. Age and background do not matter! Some of the activities include guided visits to research centres, posing open questions to future nanotechnologists, and a traveling exhibition called ‘The Invisible Nanoworld’.

For more information and to register, see the ICN2 website.
